Problem with new Integrated RLO
I have several older HP/Compaq servers, with iLO version such as: Firmware Version: 1.02
Firmware Date: 08/04/2002. I recently implemented a new server and ran into a problem. It's iLO 2 Firmware Version: 1.20 06/06/2006
I use a program from BeyondTrust to implement least security. With this I approve ActiveX controls and elevate application permissions when necessary (such as when on http or https:\\a.b.com, elevate to local admin.
The problem is with the ActiveX or whatever is loaded in the new version of iLO when I try to use Integrated Remote Console. It works on a computer without BeyondTrust but with this product all I get on this page is a white web page with a CLOSE button.
What changed with this control between versions?

Re: Problem with new Integrated RLO
It is fair to say that if the iLO 2 firmware changes, that the ActiveX and Java applets may also change. Although not explicitly called-out, changes are listed with the firmware update notes on the download page:

Re: Problem with new Integrated RLO
If BeyondTrust is limiting the specific version of the IRC extension used in iLO firmware, then you will have problems with any versions of iLO 2 firmware not consistent with BeyondTrust.
Thee was a separate issue with IRC versioning between iLO 2 firmware versions, that could cause upgraded iLOs to try the older control, but that does not sound like this behavior.
