RILOE II (227251-001) compatibility with PL3000

Is the RILOE II (227251-001) compatible with the PL3000 550 512 256AR US (126747-002)?

The official stand is that it is not supported. Not because it does not work but because not all the features of RILOE-II will work since there is no 30 pin interface on that particular server. If you want to have remote console capability, yes it should work just fine.
