Reset RILO-2 Remotely
Hi,
Please let me know if there is an utility to reset the RILO remotley. My server has been shutdown for maintenance & I an unable to connect to the RILO to Power ON my server. I am able to PING the RILO. Its a DL740 box.

What do you mean by 'unable to connect' ? If you are trying to access using the web browser interface, does it just not respond? If that's the case, you may just have to have someone unplug the server (and the RILOE II power supply if connected) to unstick it.

Yes, your understanding is right. Am able to PING but unable to access using web browser. Having a RILO is not helping in any way in this case.
So there is no tool to reset the RILO remotely ?

If RILOE has truly crashed (very infrequent occurrence, I might add), you don't have anything to talk to.
There is a small possibility that the scripting interface is still up. You could try using CPQLOCFG to send a power on command for the server. Once the server is running, you can visit the System Management Homepage and access the reset button for the management processor.
