Windows2003 Terminal Services and flashing ILO
Hi,
I have a problem that when logged into a W2003 terminal server and using IE to access a RIB or ILO the display starts to flash.
It appears to be composing the screen - eventually it stops, but often the display is then green or red and very hard to use.
I have looked at many IE settings but cannot affect this problem in any way.
Does anyone know what the problem might be?
When access the ribs from a w2000 terminal server, everything is fine.
Thanks,
Nick

Re: Windows2003 Terminal Services and flashing ILO
From the details, not sure if the problem is with the client or with RIB. Does the same display on a different client? What machine is your client (cpu)? Java version on Client?

Re: Windows2003 Terminal Services and flashing ILO
It is most definitely a problem with the one system. As I mentioned, if I use a W2000 terminal server it works fine.
One difference I notice is that on the system that does not work, we are using JRE 1.3.1-02. On the server where it does work, JRE is at 1.4.1

Re: Windows2003 Terminal Services and flashing ILO
Just installed JRE 1.4.2 - problem is gone, and mouse performance on the console is far better. I seem to recall that this version is not support on the RIB, but it seems to function fine...
