firmware update cleared the "iLO Event Log"
I have made 1.82->1.84 iLO firmware upgrade on about 20 servers via logging into iLO with https and doing the firmware update.
In two cases iLO event log was cleared. Have you ever faced with this problem?

Re: firmware update cleared the "iLO Event Log"
Yes, and actually yesterday I made the same to all my servers in the lab and all the iLo event logs were cleared as well. This is the only thisg that changes with the FW upgrade, DNS, IP and all the other stuff remained the same.

Re: firmware update cleared the "iLO Event Log"
That shouldn't be normal. As I wrote in my case on not all servers I had this issue, so this seems to be a bug. Since iLO log contains security events as well I suggest everybody to save iLO Event Log before firmware upgrade and set "Enable iLO SNMP Alerts" function to send iLO events to a central place like HP SIM.
Does HP know about this problem?
