iLO 1.60 firmware is available with new features

iLO 1.60 firmware has just hit the web. Updated documentation will be available soon.

Also check out the ISS technology papers link. Remote management leads you to Lights-Out integration notes, security briefs and best practices that can help to make your life better.

Re: iLO 1.60 firmware is available with new features

I'm using the ILO Shared Network Port on a brand new DL380G4 with the updated version 1.60. It worked a few times on our test server but now when I use remcons I get Requested service is unavailable, it is already in use by a different client.

How do I reset it?

Re: iLO 1.60 firmware is available with new features

I believe that the Graphical Remote Console is not available over the Shared Network Port implementation in that particular host.

However, if you want to reset iLO, you can do that several ways:
1- update the firmware to the latest version
2- enter iLO RBSU, change a network setting, save it, restore the network setting, save it, and exit.
3- the RIBCL scripting interface
4- the HP management agent
