Hi,
I am using the integrated remote console client application on Windows to connect to the iLO console on several DL series servers.
One of my DL380 G9 servers was giving me an error 500 when connecting, so I reset iLO to factory defaults and reconfigured it from scratch. I am now getting a message asking me to verify my credentials.
Given I have simply copied and pasted the credentials which are the same I am able to use to successfully log into the web interface for iLO, I am unclear on why it is asking me to do this. Is there a setting in iLO that is preventing this remote connection, or is my iLO possibly just completely broken?
Many thanks
James

SolutionI think this is to do with the characters in the password, as a new account with different password worked during testing.
I reset the password for the Administrator account to something with fewer special characters, and now it works fine.
