Hi,
we're using iLO 2-4 and we have some trouble now. If I active "Use Directory Default Schema", I can not logon with the local administrator. It says:
iLO2 has detected a failed login attempt.
Cause: Unauthorized.
Please wait for login promt...
password is correct and local admin is fully authorized in HP SIM SSO and User Administration.
If I use default settings without LDAP directory authentication, login with local Administrator is good. After I active LDAP authentication and enter the active directory paths, login with local Administrator doesn't work. Only login with autorized domain accounts works.
I've found a thread about this problem from 2009, but it was not solved.
I am actually testing with iLO2 Fw 2.05 12/16/2010 and iLO2 Fw 2.09 04.11.2012
Any idea?
Thanks a lot
Danny Sandner

Solution
Found another post: ActiveX Problem
@IE8 security settings, I enabled all ActiveX Controls extept "Initialize and script ActiveX controls not marked as safe for scripting". On this one I activated "prompt".
If you try to login as local administrator, a popup will be shown :
"An ActiveX control on this page might be unsafe to interact with other parts of the page. Do you want to allow this interaction?"
If you click YES, Login is unauthorized.
If you click NO, Login will be fine.
/Danny
