iLO can't find the virtual floppy with kickstart file

Hello Everyone,
I have a moonshot and my goal is to install automatically CentOS on any Cartridge with the kickstart file on a virtual floppy. I tried to use the virtual floppy as (virtual drives, image file, removable media) and the choosen CentOS is on on (virtual Drives, Image File, CD-Rom/DVD). But the boot menu can't find the kickstart file. I'm not sure about where to tell the system to use my kickstart file or does anyone knows where iLO is trying to reach the floppy?
I hope anyone can help me.

Kind Regards
Pima

Re: iLO can't find the virtual floppy with kickstart file

Hi Pima,

There is known issue in red hat which states that the KS ususllay points to USB device and make sure its pointing to right device.

For refrence refer to the following document :

https://access.redhat.com/solutions/345053

Issue

When specifying an HP iLO (Integreated Lights Out Environment) virtual cdrom on the grub line with linux ks=cdrom:/ks.cfg, anaconda returns an error stating that it cannot find the kickstart file
Resolution

The appropriate way to specify that would be linux ks=hd:scd0:/ks.cfg
