iLo Remote Console / Terminal Services unreachable?
Hi,
I'm trying to set up access to a customer's server via Internet. I had to change the Port settings on the iLo (55080 http, 55443 https). Router is configured accordingly, all necessary ports opened and configured to point to the iLo. I can open a browser session to the iLo and log into the iLo. If I start a remote console the window opens, java applet loads, I see the black box that should become the screen, then the status line claims either "java.net.ConnectException: Connection timed out: connect" or "java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused: connect"
Trying to open a Remote Desktop Session fails as well, and so does trying to open a Virtual Media connection.
Any ideas?
Regards,
Joerg

Re: iLo Remote Console / Terminal Services unreachable?
Open port 23 for remote console. Open port 3389 if you want to do Remote Desktop.

Re: iLo Remote Console / Terminal Services unreachable?
Check the iLO Network Settings help page for a list of all the port assignments that are used by iLO. It is likely that you have not opened all of the necessary ports for iLO remote console or terminal services support.
