"This drive type is already in use" when attempting to mount Virtual Media

I am getting the following error message when attempting to mount ANY virtual media:

"This drive type is already in use"

As said above, when trying to mount an Image, a Folder, or my local CD, I get the above error message.

Any ideas on what's causing this?

What is the host OS? All of the virtual media is mounted by way of virtual USB drives. Perhaps the OS USB support is confused or there is a resource that is blocked.

It's happening on 2 different servers...

Both are Windows 2003. A manual USB drive works just fine....

Make sure that the OS is SP2 or better...

I was already at 1.35, but reflashed the iLO2 as directed and all works fine. Thanks for the info!

I just met the same problem, and what i got right now is that the iLO had been closed by the preuser with unnormally way, and the solution is to enter the iLO control center to fix it, you can press F8 after the system examination process
