Re: 1785 Drive Array Not Configurer - How to Not receive the alert on a server

Hi

Server restart this week end so i received an email fro mHPSIM and an Event

Event Name: (SNMP) POST Errors Occurred (6027)

URL: https://xxx.xxxx.xxxx..xxxx2381/

Event originator: xxxxxx

Event Severity: Minor

Event received: 26-Oct-2014, 00:24:38

Event description: One or more POST errors occurred.  Power On Self-Test (POST) errors occur during the server restart process. Details of the POST error messages can  be found in Integrated Management Log

Health status is green

So the pb is .. how to not receive this event drom tis particular server ?

Re: 1785 Drive Array Not Configurer - How to Not receive the alert on a server

Hello again,

I looked at earlier posted solutions.  Please look at http://h30499.www3.hp.com/t5/ProLiant-Servers-ML-DL-SL/POST-Error-1785-Drive-Array-not-Configured/td-p/5279455

Your problem seems to be solved here. Look at the section about an array controller with no or unconfigured disks .

Kind regards,

Re: 1785 Drive Array Not Configurer - How to Not receive the alert on a server

Hi thanks

so .. it seems there is  no real solution ...

This error message occour, when a smart array controller find no configuration on the drives.
You will allways get it on the very first boot.
Or if you have a unused array controller in the system, then you will get it on all boots.
