4.2 Events Won't Delete From DB?

Hello,

I'm running 4.2 w/ SP2 and need to clear approx 1.4 million events from a 60 + gb database as my drive is full. I try to manually delete them and of course Java launches but eventually craps out. Trying this from the Options >Delete events menu does nothing either.

Can someone tell me how to do this?

Marcus, you are doing the correct procedure, but need to allow more time for the delete process to complete. One customer had to wait 4 hours to delete 1 million events.
