A communication error has been detected / Power Or Thermal Events
I have a server that I am getting communication errors on. It says the event category is Power or Thermal Events.
Description A communication error has been detected
Event Category Power Or Thermal Events
Problem Description: Unable to log in to Management Processor 10.1.12.9 in server iloBESX1 due to incorrect or missing credentials.
Recommended Actions: Please check if valid management processor credentials are configured in Options->Security->Credentials or Options->Power Management.
I can browse to the ilo port and login, so I believe the credentials I have setup for the server are working. Any ideas why I would be getting this?
HP IC is 7.6
Server is a Proliant DL380 Gen 9.

Re: A communication error has been detected / Power Or Thermal Events
Please check if you can login to the ILO GUI and able to generate AHS logs.
If you are getting any errors there, check on ILO FW. It should NOT be more than 2.54.
You may also try re-configure ILO if access problem due to ILO credentials.
Are we using any LDAP credentials?
