Automatically Delete Events?
Hi,
Short Question:
We see a lot Events that we don’t want to see. How can we Automatically Delete these Events?
We know the Automatically Clear Events option.
Thanks for your response.

Re: Automatically Delete Events?
You can create event list with all unwanted events and use "Delete events" task to delete these events.
For example, to delete old events:
- Create a new event list.
- Select events where "event time" "is older than" X days
- Save list
- Go to Options -> Events > Delete events
and apply this task to list you create.
You can schedule this task.
I think you cannot delete "discovered system" event.

Re: Automatically Delete Events?
I'm still confused on this. There are some events that we know need deleted since they don't apply to our situation. I created a list of the different types of servers that I want included. I am wanting to delete all NIC related events for these specific nodes. I tried following the editing of an already created task, but I don't know what to do after that. I saved the list of nodes as a Collection and was hoping to add it to the Delete Events tool.
