CPU tresholds
Hi
I have a old HP SIM 4.2 SP2-installation (all modules) on a HP DL360.
I set CPU tresholds in SMH Operating System > Processors to Warning= 80 % and Critical= 95 %
on CPU 0, CPU 1, CPU_Total and save this.
I run Configure > Repl. Agent Settings and and choose the SIM-server as source and all systems as targets.
The result: Warning= 80 % and Critical= 95 % set on target system for CPU_Total
BUT not "CPU 0" or "CPU 1" on all machines with different verson of support pack/version of agents.
Cant see any reason, maybee agents with version 7.20/7.30 is more worse than other agents.
Can any give me some facts about this?
Regards Mikael

Re: CPU tresholds
Hi Mikael,
I think that there have been posts about this before, and that the upshot was that the replication function will only set the "total" CPU threshold, not the thresholds for individual CPUs.

Re: CPU tresholds
Hi Steve
Do you meen that I can't replicate tresholds for CPU 0 and CPU1 only CPU_Total?
I will say that with HP SIM 4.0 and 7.0 Agents (for 2 years ago) it worked for every CPU!!!

Re: CPU tresholds
I could be wrong, but I think that this was discussed in other posts - you might want to search on it and see what comes up.
Good luck,
- Steve
