Can SIM pass SNMP trap from OA(Onboard Administrator) to SNMP receiver?

My Customer has two bl870i2 blade servers and one enclosure.
He wants to monitor fan and power status.
I know that OA(onboard Administrator) can send snmp trap.
The problem is that IP of OA and IP of SNMP receiver are in different network.

IP of OA : 192.x.x.x
IP of SNMP receiver : 70.x.x.x

Because of security, he can not change network.

He han one windows server that has both networks(192.x.x.x and 70.x.x.x)
So, He wants to know that OA can send snmp trap to SNMP receiver through windows server if he installs hp SIM on windows server?

Can any one tell me solution for this issue?

Re: Can SIM pass SNMP trap from OA(Onboard Administrator) to SNMP receiver?

This can be done if windows server (in both network) has SIM installed and blades/OA have SIM certificate installed. Also set SNMP trap receiver in OA/Blade targeting it to SIM server and in SIM\Options\Events\Automatic Event handling configure a new task to forward SNMP trap to your target receiver.

Few R&D required on your end.

Note: I have faced lot of problems while setting up similar (no network constraints) to BMC but BMC tool was not able to translate the SNMP traps (it was able to see the traps received but there were not much details available) so finally we opted for setting up a VB script (as Custom tool) for forwarding the alert to BMC tool.
Also, bridging 2 networks (like your windows server is doing) is not a good network practice as it opens a whole between 2 networks.
