Can no clear or delete events.

I┬┤m Unable to clear or delete any events
in system insight manager 5.3 SP1(+all updates)

The server was erlier a member of a domain
But the sim "old version" was uninstalled before we installed the latest version.

any ideas ?

Are you logging into SIM with an account that has the rights to delete events for those servers?
Maybe try logging in using the account HP SIM was installed with and check the authorizations etc.

Is there an error that is generated?
Or any output received when trying to delete events?

Does it apply to any event? For example, Discovery events cannot be deleted.

How many total events are in the list? I have had some issues when the event count reaches a large number (thousands).

This applys to all events, automatically cleared by hpsim, or uncleared events.

The exact message is:

Could not delete all selected event(s).
One or more events are in the discovered systems. One or more events are in pending state.

The account used are the same as earlier.
Im not sure if this behavior occured after any winupdate on sql was applied. but it is not the same as directly after installation.

When removing a server from a domain the
credentials for the services on Sql (express 2005) needs to be changed. create a local account and change the credentials on the service and restart the service.

as simple as that.
