Cannot delete duplicate items in Private & Shared Collections

The SIM manual states this cannot happen, yet it has. Take a look at the attachment. I have a SIM user that has their Private Collection items linked to existing Shared Collection items. Change a name of an item in either Private or Shared and it changes the other. I've deleted EVERY SIM user (including the account that started the problem)except the last Admin user and the Private settings have migrated to this last user. I cannot delete them because they exist in both places. How can I clear these Private items?

I am having the same problem. I ended up undoing all the work that I had done hoping that if the collections were empty then I would be able to delete but still nothing.
