Cannot subscribe to WBEM on any server SIM 6.3

I have upgraded a non used SIM server from 6.2 to 6.3.
I am able to setup the trust by certificate, have setup the Version control agents, and e-mail.
However if i try to subscribe to WBEM events i get "Cause: Subscription infrastructure is not present or corrupted".
I have used the "configure and repair agents" option to add the domain user to the remote server to access the WBEM events, and the SMH on the remote servers looks like it working, just cant get the SIM server to recconize this.
I have re-booted
unsubscribed, then try to subscribe,
disabled the firewall
uninstalled, re-installed, forced re-install, formatted the whole system and re-installed
checked i was using the correct password, and still getting the same error.
Any one know how to fix this?

You have the WMI Mapper installed on your SIM servers and have SIM pointing at it?

Re: Cannot subscribe to WBEM on any server SIM 6.3

Try the following:

- Pick a serverw itht he HP WBEM providors installed on them. Note: make sure the hardware/OS is supoprted for the version of the providors
- Discover the device in SIM
- Manually set the WBEM credetials to use in the 'System Credentials' pane
- Ensuer this account has local admin privledges on the traget server or that you have altered the WMI security appropriayely for a standard account to subscribe
- Check that all firewalls are not blocking access
- try and subscribe to indications via the command line

Re: Cannot subscribe to WBEM on any server SIM 6.3

well, i got it working with the local administrator. Going to check a domain user with admin access, then the configured user with out admin access.
Configure WBEM / WMI user (START) ...
Configure WBEM / WMI user ...... ................................... [SUCCESS]

Set WBEM / WMI user credentials to System protocol settings ........ [SUCCESS]
Re-identifying system to get updated information (START) ...
Re-identification of system .................................... [SUCCESS]

Subscribe to WBEM / WMI Indications ................................ [SUCCESS]

Checking whether the HP SIM CMS can login to the SMH URL " https://servername:2381/ "
Login to the SMH using certificate.............................. [SUCCESS]

So you got it working without using an Admin account? I never could get it working using a non-admin account.

Re: Cannot subscribe to WBEM on any server SIM 6.3

I have all my subscriptions running under a normal user but you must alter the WMI security on certain namespaces in order to get it tow rok. this is documented in the configuration guides for the WBEM providors.
