Changing local admin password issues
Hi there,
After we changed a local admin password on the SIM server, we started getting the following error every 20 seconds.
com.hp.mx.database.DbVerificationException: Error loading database verification handler 'com.hp.mx.database.MsSqlVerificationHandler'
com.hp.mx.database.DbVerificationException: Error accessing database
As soon as we reset the password back to the orignal one, it starts working again...
How can this be fixed? Where do we change the password within Insight Manager?

I had seen the article before posting my question and we figured it out reading it again :)
We ended up following those instruction but changing the local admin password on the SIM server caused it to stop working.
We changed the local admin pw on the server, we also needed to change the domain password used for the HP Insight Manager Service account to match the local admin pw and the ran the mxpassword -g utility to change the MxDBUserPassword.
So in short all passwords need to be the same to work.
