Changing password

I changed the SIM LAN password in Active Directory, then changed the password on the Service; HP Systems Insight Manager, and SQLSERVERAGENT.
Both services are started but SIM is not running locally or web based. I had to change the password back to restore service.
Where else do I need to change the password for SIM to work correctly?

I am having the same issue. I changed the service account password and now i can no longer access SIM. I need to be able to change this password once per month

My requirement is each quarter, but there has to be a procedure to correctly change the password.

Robert,
I found the solution in the forums. Change the database connection password using the following command.

mxpassword -m -x xDBUserPassword="password"

The password can contain special characters but not the double-quote character. This command is case sensitive.

I tried it and it solved my problem. Here is a link to the post I found
