Clearing IML not possible

Hi,

I've installed PSP 7.5 on a number of machines.
Even though SNMP is installed and properly configured I cannot clear the IML.

Any ideas?

Hi,

SNMP is installed and I've configured two community names, Public and greger.

Public with READ_ONLY and
greger with READ_WRITE

I also tried adding a third with read_create but with no luck.

Accepted hostat are localhost and hulda_sim
where ulda_sim is the hp sim server.

If the SNMP is all configured to allow it, the error message itself gives you the next lead to follow. I'm assuming the system you are attempting this on is a windows box, so if you go to the control panel and open the HP Insight Agents applet, you should see a series of tabs across the top. If you get the SNMP tab, there is a check box for "Enable SNMP Sets". Make sure that box is checked. If it is, then that would seem to point back toward something in the SNMP security settings.

Forgot to restart the agents.
But it indeed was that snmp sets wasn't enabled.
