Can HP SIM be manually configured to monitor and alert on an SNMP value? I have imported MIBs for some 3rd party devices that allow reading of SNMP values but do not send traps. I'd like to monitor several of those values and trigger alerts/events when those values excede certain amounts.
thanks
thanks

Re: Configure HP SIM to monitor and alert on SNMP value?
If a 3rd party device does send traps, and I import the MIBs for it, would traps from that device be "registered events", or would I still have to check the box for "accept unregistered events" on the Event Filter Settings page to receive traps from the device?
Thanks,
