Could not send the configuration change to the system

I Get this error message the I try to replicate to Windows 2003 SP1 (64-bit).

Is there some thing special with 64-bits?

The SNMP-agent has read/create on the servers?

Any ideers?

Re: Could not send the configuration change to the system

Hi Mikael,

It may be the SNMP security. Up until Windows 2003, the SNMP service had a default setting of accepting SNMP packets from all hosts. Now, the default is to accept packets from *no* hosts. You may need to add your SIM host to the list.

The "Configure & Repair Agents" feature will do this for you, as well.

Good luck,

Re: Could not send the configuration change to the system

Hi Steve

We has set up about 150 Proliant server against HP SIM 4.2 and with W2K3 we change from "no host" to "all host" in the SNMP-config.

It must be something special about setting upp Integri-server against a HP SIM 4.2 SP2.
