Custom tools and batch files

Hi
Can you send a batch file run by the custom tools Insight Manager paramaters?

These parameters would be consumed by an executable that the batch file is running.

OR if this isnt any good...

Is there any way you can run a command line executable that contains variables supplied by HP SIM.

HPSIM passes a number of parameters to Custom Commands by default using variables.
Your script just needs to use them. You can also send your own variables through.

Get the HPSIM User Guide and check out Chapter 12 the section on Custom Tools has a section on variables HPSIM passes and the data they contain.
