Customizing the System Table View appearance.
2 Questions:
1.) Is it possible to add/customize the "Displayed Columns" on the Table View/Appearance page, other than the choices that are there by default?
2.) Is there a way to add/customize fields on the "Edit System Properties" page, specifically the "System Subtype" selections/options.?
Thanks.

Re: Customizing the System Table View appearance.
When you return to view the answer, please rate it by assigning points on a scale of 1-10. To assign points, simply login and click the dropdown points menu next to each reply. Use the following scale when rating a response:
N/A: The reply was a clarification to my original question
1-3: The answer didn't help answer my question, but thanks anyhow!
4-7: The answer helped with a portion of my question, but I still need help.
8-10: The answer has solved my problem completely! I'm a happy camper!
WHY SHOULD YOU DO THIS?
There are 3 reasons why we feel rating replies is such an important feature:
1.) Others have taken time to help you, so please give them credit for their help.
2.) Your rating will help your peers earn points toward their Forums status, and you will validate the quality of the solution you've received.
3.) Other readers will understand which answer best solved a problem, enriching the community knowledge being shared.
YOU HAVE 15 QUESTIONS ,NO POINTS APPLY...

Re: Customizing the System Table View appearance.
What are you trying to achieve? There may be an alternative.
If you want a new device type for a currently unknown device you can add these.

Re: Customizing the System Table View appearance.
Staff Responsible
Validation (whether or not a server has been deemed validated or non-validated)
Date Server was brought online
ETC.
So that if we need to run a report against these things, we can do so.
Thanks

Re: Customizing the System Table View appearance.
I haven't been able to achieve that via the table view but some of these items can be made viewable via System Properties and SNMP settings.
Specifically, I've added Contact Information (System contact and System location) via the Edit System Properties option (can also be accomplished via SNMP configuration>SNMP Agent Configuration) on the System Management Homepage of said server. Also, the SNMP Configuration>Management Agents screen on the System Management Homepage will allow you to enter a "Server Role".
All of the above added information can be referenced via the system Identification drill downs and/or via a custom report.
See attached.
peace,
