I am running SIM 5.1 sp1 with hotfixes on a w2k3 sp1 server and every day when the Daily Device Identification task runs we get a notification that an admin account has been locked out.
I can disable this task and the message goes away but I would like to keep this task enabled.
Has anyone else encountered this problem or know if there is a way to change the owner of this task to see if that helps? It is currently owned by mxadmin.
Any suggestions are appreciated.

Re: Daily Device Identification causing admin account to lock out
Removing the global WBEM credentials seems to have been the cause. I will watch it over the next few days just to make sure.

Re: Daily Device Identification causing admin account to lock out
I use wbem for my virtual servers, so I have wbem enabled globally and then enter server specific wbem credentials where required. A bit of a pain but I've seen a few issues where wbem can conflict with other data gathering in HPSIM.
