Database query
Hello everyone
Can anyone help me with querying MSDE SQL server.
Situation for me, is a little bit strange (maybe).
I have a windows server with only HP SIM installed, and i don't have rights to install any other software for browsing SQL database.
It is possible to use SIM command line utils, to query database. Like, view all events for last hour for example.
Thanks

Re: Database query
You can connect and access the DB using the osql utility that comes with MSDE. More info @ http://www.support.microsoft.com/?id=325003

Re: Database query
Yeh. It's one of the variants i think. But browsing SQL database it's a little bit ugly IMHO.
Actualy I was not corectly explained my situation.
For example in HP OpenView I'm using command "ovdumpevents" to get some records. My question maybe will sound now "how to view some records by using command line SIM"
Thanks for all answers
