Delete events taks turned off and need help clearing

We have 2 SIM servers in the LAB. One is at 5.2 SP2 and its having issues. Someone turned off the Delete
Events task and we now have over 800,000 events in the console making the system impossible to use.
I’d like to upgrade it but need to address this first. Is there a Query that HP can provide that I can run at the
DB server from Query Analyzer so I can remove these? I tried running it immediately through the GUI
But I can’t seem to start it through the GUI, it fails.
