Detecting Failed Power Supplies

Running SIM 5 and want to get an email when a power supply fails in servers with redundant power supplies. But on the servers I've looked at the System Homepage has no info on the power supplies. The windows system log will report what supply has failed but I get no trap sent out. Any ideas on fixing this?

Re: Detecting Failed Power Supplies

Are you getting any Traps sent out?
Check the SNMP Settings have the Trap Destination set to point to the HPSIM Server with an appropriate community name.
Check that it works using the SNMP Trap send in the HP Management Agents GUI (access via Control panel)
