Re: Did I wipe out the management processor?
Ok, I just received an email reply from HP's tech support:
"From the information provided we suspect that the remote management processor requires replacement."
I just sent them the hardware information they requested and I expect the replacement part(s) to be here by the middle of next week, if not earlier.
Thanks,
Joe B

Re: Did I wipe out the management processor?
Hey all, I just installed my new system board that HP sent me and the server works great. I saw the iLO configuration option while the server was booting and now it's configured. Everything went very smoothly except for one small "learning experience." I found out that processors in HP servers have some type of Primary/Secondary code built into them. When I put the server back together I apparently put processor 1 in processor 2's slot and the server didn't like that. I swapped processors and all is well with the world. Well, at least with the server. Thanks again to everyone who offered help with my issue.
Thanks,
Joe B

Re: Did I wipe out the management processor?
The problem wasn't a software configuration issue. The problem was a defective system board in the server.
