Discovery and Veritas Cluster nodes
I'm having an issue with discovery on Veritas Cluster nodes.
Lets say I have node1 and node2. When node1 gets discovered all looks good on it, when node2 gets discovered node1 disappears and node2 looks good.
I can't have both nodes of a cluster showing up at the same time. I'm sure it has something to do with them sharing an IP or two, but can't find a way to tell SIM to not discover those IP's.
Has anyone ran into this and found a solution?
Thanks,
Mike

Re: Discovery and Veritas Cluster nodes
Did you get to see if both the IP addresses getting associated to the single node? Make sure that the nodes are not having the same GUID (This can generally occur when you have deployed the servers using images).

Re: Discovery and Veritas Cluster nodes
I just manually added a cluster pair one by one and watched what is happening. Node1 is added and has 6 IP's, 1 that is it's own and 5 that are cluster resources. Node2 is added, it too has 6 IP's, 1 that is it's own and 5 that are cluster resources. When node2 is added node1 is deleted. The System Address for node2 shows the same as node1 did before it was deleted.
