Hi,
I have an idea to monitor our ESXi 4 cluster by SIM. I never did it before, and HP's driver page for DL380 G7 says it has "* HP Management Agents for VMware ESX 4.x Only (Not for ESXi 4.x) "
I'm stuck with this, what must I install to ESXi host ? Must I install something to guest ?
Solved! Go to Solution.

SolutionYou don't need anything. ESXi will be using WBEM and not SNMP as its deprecated. You should download the ESXi version directly from HP as it ships with the WBEM agents already installed. All you have to do then is create a WBEM subscription ;)
