EVA CV SMI-S/CIMOM Troubles
IтАЩm trying to solve troubles with EVA(9.1) CIMOM in SIM(5.3sp1):
SIM Identify Systems output (on CV system):
Checking for WBEM support on system.
This system has at least one SMI-S CIMOM installed
This system doesn't have a server CIMOM installed locally, or cannot connect to it using all credentials specified
Running WBEM rules based identification.
Got ComputerSystem WBEM/WMI data from the system
WbemDisco with root namespace returns CIM_ERR_INALID_NAMESPACE
WbemDisco with root\eva namespace returns only one string:
Enumerating instances of CIM_RegisteredProfile...
WbemDisco with interop namespace returns more information:
ObjectManager.Name=HP:CxwsCimom_10.32.56.114
ElementName=HP Cxws Server
CimomVersion=
Description=HP Cxws Server
Enumerating instances of CIM_RegisteredProfile...
Profile.RegisteredName=Server
RegisteredVersion=1.3.0

I have one document from : ftp://ftp.compaq.com/pub/products/storageworks/smisproviders/smis_troubleshooting.pdf
SMI-S provider troubleshooting for HP Systems Insight Manager and HP Storage Essentials (Fourth edition: January 2008)
Which tells that I have use root/pg_interop namespace for my CV EVA, but result is CIM_ERR_INALID_NAMESPACE
Can anybody answer me which namespace I must use for CV EVA troubleshooting?
Why my SIM CMS tell me тАЬThis system doesn't have a server CIMOM installed locally, or cannot connect to it using all credentials specifiedтАЭ when WBEM credentials is OK (тАЬGot ComputerSystem WBEM/WMI data from the systemтАЭ) and CMS can see CIMOM (тАЬThis system has at least one SMI-S CIMOM installedтАЭ)?

Re: EVA CV SMI-S/CIMOM Troubles
interop is the namespace and from what i can see you have the proper credentials.
make sure the trust is setup in cv-eva for sim under server options.
This may help

Re: EVA CV SMI-S/CIMOM Troubles
6.0 has resolved my troubles! I see all info from EVA but: This system doesn't have a server CIMOM installed locally, or cannot connect to it using all credentials specified
