EVA not monitored by HP SIM
Hi guyz,
I have a little problem,
My HP SIM 5.3, is not capturing my EVA 3000.
How can I solve it?
I have SIM 5.3 and CV 8, installed on different systems.
waiting for your reply.
thanks
pingoss

Re: EVA not monitored by HP SIM
The EVA is discovered via CV.
You need to enter wbem credentials for the CV Server and that user needs to have access to CV so needs to be in the local Storage Admins group.
You can also verify access by using the wbemdisco command. cd to the Insight Manager and enter wbemdisco. You should get a GI that asks for target & credentials etc. This helps in getting the access right.
