EXCEPTION CLASS: com.sshtools.j2ssh.SshException

Does anyone know what causes this error:

EXCEPTION CLASS: com.sshtools.j2ssh.SshException
EXCEPTION: The SFTP Subsystem could not be initialized

All the services have started, HPSIM4.1 SP1, connecting to a SQL database on separate server.

The above errors is a result of running custom commands which we use to aid with alerting, evrythign was working fine yesterday and a reboot of HPSIM server hasn't sorted out the problem.
