Error Creating WBEM Subscription to ESXi 5
When I try and create a WBEM Subscription to from SIM7.1 to ESXi 5 I get this error:
FAILED to create indication subscription.
Cause: Subscriptions are not supported
Recommended Action: Install the HP WBEM providers, if already installed
re-identify the node and try to subscribe again.
It looks to me like the issue listed here:
Has anyone got access to this script as I currently don't have a support contract for SIM,
Thanks,
Gareth.

Re: Error Creating WBEM Subscription to ESXi 5
You don't need a SIM support contract. You can open a Insight Remote Support case which needs only the monitored hardware under Warranty or a hardware support contract. By the way did you open the esxi firewall that he can send back the indication? This is in most case the real reason why the wbem subscription is not working.
Another issue is the fact the you can have problems that the CIM server process on your esxi host is not running.
