SolutionYou have configured the automatic update settings in VCRM, but VCRM doesnt know what PSP's to download from hp site. So for that you need to configure at least one VCA to point to the VCRM system and then VCRM will know that it has to download the support pack for the requesting VCA Operating system.
(Example: If you configure VCA running on a Windows Server 2003 system, then VCRM will download Windows Server 2003 support pack and if you want windows 2000 then configure vca running on windows 2000 to point to this repository)
You can see in add/remove programs or browse to SMH and verify if VCRM has been installed or not.
Hope this helps.

Re: Failed to install VC Repository
I've done the install before on another system and I don't recall having these issues! :)

Re: Failed to install VC Repository
Does VCRM show up in the Add/Remove programs? Try restarting the VCRM service and see if it comes up?
