Firmware Upgrade on R3000XR UPS

I am attempting to upgrade the firmware on R3000XR UPS however I am experiencing some problems. The firmware has not been updated since the UPS was purchased some 5 years ago. The firmware version I am trying to update to is 1.03 or 1.04

The error message I receive is following:
"ERROR > Wrong echo received in baud rate detect" The same error message occurs whether I am attempting to upgrade to Ver 1.03 or Ver 1.04

I have successfully upgraded SNMP/Serial Port Card firmware to version 3.62B

Any help would be much appreciated.

Try connecting to the UPS via the native serial card (instead of the SNMP card) and perform the flash routine.
