Re: Firmware update using VCA console
Yes, we want to go with firmware updates only for now. Now the question is whether they (Online ROM Flash components shared in the previous attachment) can be installed one by one or select all and install togeather. Also, what is the success rate of updating firmware in this way?

Re: Firmware update using VCA console
Firmware components (Online ROM Flash components) got updated successfully through HP VCA.
Installed all three components one by one and rebooted the server twice.

Re: Firmware update using VCA console
One tip,
Don't forget to udate your network card, this update is not shown in the VCA by default, select show all from the VCA to see additional updates like broadcomm nic firmware and HBA firmware.

Re: Firmware update using VCA console
Thanks for the tip. As of now, we want to install only Firmware components which are showing Major status in VCA console. Once we complete that, then will proceed with the remaining updates.
