HP Advisories and Sub-Agents - are they still applicable
Hi All,
It's all very well getting advisories, but how can you tell if they're still relevant?
There are two causing concern to us here for ESX:
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&taskId=110&prodSeriesId=428936&prodTypeId=15351&prodSeriesId=428936&objectID=c01581680
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&objectID=c01519875&jumpid=reg_R1002_USEN
The obvious question is has the issue been fixed.
The FC one concerns me more, according to the advisory the sub-agent is just for a few HP Storage Arrays (doesn't even include EVAs). Surely it would be better to disable this and advise those few clients to enable it rather than what must be the majority having to disable it.
If HP could comment it would be great. Or has anyone else seen the answer anywhere?
TIA Rob.
