HP BLade System with Insight Control Enviornemnet

Hi,

I have installed C7000 enclosure at customer site, this enclosure is delivered with 16 "Insight Control for Blade System environment" licenses. I have installed ICDC on a separate CMS, i want to just ask what is the purpose of these licenses as we are able to discover all the systems over the network.

Please clarify Licensing functionality.

ICE contains a whole lot of add-ons to HPSIM base functionality and some non-HPSIM stuff.

Performance Management Pack, Advanced ILO and Virtual Machine Management are some that spring to mind.

Also you're entitled to use the HPSIM to Vmware Virtual centre server and storage integration.

I've not used it to date, but I do like what I see in the VC integration stuff.

yes, its the IC is a suite which contains a lot of plugins like PMP, VMM, IPM etcc.. Free licenses will help you to configure those products and make the best out of IC -
