HP Insight ver 5.1 - Suspend by IP

Is it possible to suspend monitoring on a block of IP addresses as opposed to suspending each inidividual IP address?

You could use one of the techniques there to create a custom command in HP SIM. That way you could choose one or more systems with the check boxes, or display a collection and select the entire collection, and have the custom command operate on all of them with a click of the pull-down menu.

For HP SIM 5.1 scripts are not required to suspend block of IP address or collections. HP SIM has its own tool under Options--System Properties---Suspend or Resume Monitoring. You can select multiple nodes or collections to suspend in a block. For more info refer to below link

Options - system properties - and you can select the device you wish to suspend. However my intention was to block IP addresses before they come on line. SIM only lets one block was has already ben identified. Makes sense I susppose.
