HP SIM 5.2 User rights problem after upgrade
Hi!
We upgraded our SIM Server from 5.1 to 5.2 and now our users with a customized toolbox can't for exemple clear events even though they have that right in their toolbox. They select an event and press the clear button but nothing happens. The users are members in an Active directory group which is listed in SIM with the a toolbox to fit their need. Me on the other hand have the pre-installed toolbox "All Tools" and i can clear events. I tried to remake their toolbox but with no success. Running out on ideas here :-\

Re: HP SIM 5.2 User rights problem after upgrade
It might be worth checking to see that you have DEP configured correctly. I had strange problems until I just turned it off completely in boot.ini (the /noexecute option):
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Windows Server 2003, Standard" /fastdetect /NoExecute=AlwaysOff
You'd think the pre-install check would check for this, but it apparently does not...
