HP SIM 5.3

Hello All

I am having problem with HP SIM - it resets every hour. The only entry in log i have is:

Lost connection to database, exception: java.sql.SQLException: I/O Error: Connection reset SQL=none

I check DB server and found no problems there it is running fine all the time.
Can you please advise me what else can be checked?

After long investigation this appeared to be network issue caused short connectivity loss caused by spanning tree on one of the switches.
