HP SIM 6.0 WBEM Events on ESXi
Hi,
I have followed numerous different threads and support docs around getting our ESXi 5 (HP ML370 G6) clients into HP SIM (version 6.0) and have finally got them to report their status through WBEM. The only issue is that when they report an issue in their Health Status (failed disk, unplugged nic etc) the issues do not then get created as an Event so I cannot get notification of them. If I switch the server off that registers as an Event which is then picked up by an Event Handler. Windows 2003 physical boxes are repoting events fine.
Can anyone offer any advice on where to look next? I have followed the thread below around updating the offline bundles but they seem to be up to date so I can only assume it's an Insight configuration issue?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Spencer
