HP SIM - Monitoring vSphere (Virtual Machines) in DMZ

Guys,  could anyone give me some information about how we should be monitoring our virtual machines in our DMZ (through a firewall) using HP SIM.

Do you mean the ESX server where the virtuals run on or the virtual servers itself ?

Kind regards,

Hi, no... we manage the Esxi hosts without issue. The mgmt interface is inside the network. It's the DMZ guests on those hosts that we are unsure of how to monitor as ping isdisabled through the firewall

Is there any other port that you can connect to from your SIM server? You can configure any other port for ping in your Global Protocol settings for ping check like port 80 or 3389 or any other port.

Kind regards,

Hello,  changing the port to 80 has fixed our issue.

Thanks for all your help ...
