HP SIM - Move to new domain

Hello,


I am an new here and am looking for some help on how to go about moving an existing SIM to a new domain.   Our company was purchased and are in the process of moving our environment over to their domain.    I've been searching but have not found any documents on how to reconfigure SIM.
I have SIM 7.02 running on a 2008 R2 VM. 
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,

 

Your current SIM version is no longer supported. I would advise to install fresh 7.5 on the new machine and start from there.

Switching from one domain to another with SIM is not supported.

I would just create a host file from the old system then add it to the new one so you can discover all the old devices to the new one.
