HP SIM VCRM & Trust & Agent problems
Trust relationship seems to be broken and all attempts to establish it via Trust>turst by name or trust by certificate is not sucesfull, even though i can see the valid certificate being appplied to the client.
IP SIM is 5.2 and VCRM is on the same server as SIM.VCRM update to the software are working to download the update to VCRM itself.
Is there any additional security or accounts that need to be configured ? in SIM? I have one local account to the SIM server that i congigure the agents with.
This is an windows 2003 server systems

Re: HP SIM VCRM & Trust & Agent problems
i have the same Problem last year. My solution: deinstall the vcrm, restart the server, install vcrm in last version, then reinstall and boot again.
PS: you must not delete the repository folder ..

Re: HP SIM VCRM & Trust & Agent problems
Configure SMH to trust all(worst case) & see if SIM can trust this SMH.

Re: HP SIM VCRM & Trust & Agent problems
I was eventually, able to resolve the issue, it seems like the syntax to contact the VCRM from the client was not right, the correct syntax was as follows
tsg1test1=SIM Server where VCRM is installed.
insight_user=user account for all client for VCRM.(local account to the sim server)
first Feild=tsg1test1
account had to be specified as below
tsg1test1\insight_user.
sometimes the account was found to be locked out, causing issues & i strighten out trust by certificate and installed correct server in trusted list.
Most issues are now resolved, thanks for your input.
